The Week of October 27th...

As we begin our week, continue to develop good habits of studying and reviewing our

8 Mathematical Practices:

1.Make sense of problems and persevere in solving them.

2. Reason abstractly and quantitatively.

3. Construct viable arguments and critique the reasoning of others.

4. Model with mathematics

5. Use appropriate tools strategically.

6. Attend to precision.

7. Look for and make use of structure.

8. Look for and express regularity in repeated reasoning

Remember, “Math is about making complicated things simply.” So try to keep that as your focus.

Parents and Guardians Note: Ensure your learners are completing there home-learning, this is fundamental to academic success. We are extending the classroom outside of the four walls of our room. Gizmo assignments include Exploration Guides and assessment questions are due weekly and home-learning assignments are given daily, along with vocabulary development. Ask to see your learners "Interactive Journal" and textbook, these are needed resources in Algebra I.

Tues:
(5B, 6B, and 7B) Complete Practices Problems worksheet 3-6, ensure you use "Interval Notation".
