The Week of September 15th...

As we begin our week, continue to develop good habits of studying and reviewing our 8 Mathematical Practices:


1.Make sense of problems and persevere in solving them.

2 Reason abstractly and quantitatively.

3. Construct viable arguments and critique the reasoning of others.

4. Model with mathematics

5. Use appropriate tools strategically.

6. Attend to precision.

7. Look for and make use of structure.

8. Look for and express regularity in repeated reasoning


Remember, “Math is about making complicated things simply.” So try to keep that as your focus.

Parents and Guardians Note: Thank you for the opportunity to work with your learner. Your trust and support for both students and teachers has a significant impact on learning. I am fully committed to each of my students and their academic success. I look forward to working with you to see each students’ mathematical development manifest at the highest levels! Thank you for helping me keep the focus on learning development in mathematics. Additionally, ensure your learning are completing there home-learning, this is fundamental to learning. We are extending the classroom outside of the four walls of my room. Gizmo are due weekly and home-learning assignments are given daily, along with vocabulary development.

Lastly, Thank you to all parents that attending the "Open House" it was a pleasure to meet you and I appreciate your time, this year will be productive!
